Founder / Station Manager
Amelia Sher
Hey, I’m the Founder and Station Manager of Sheridanlife Radio. I have previously interned and worked as an associate producer at CBC Radio. I am also a proud Sheridan Alumni from the Media Fundamentals and the Journalism program. My hobbies include Krav Maga, podcasting, being outdoors, sports and running. I also love a good movie or song.
My goals for Sheridanlife radio are to continue to build our legacy within and outside of the walls at Sheridan. I love my job and I love working with our students who enjoy creating content just as much as I do. It is an incredible feeling to hear from our SLR alumni who have gone on to do incredible things in the radio/media industry. Let’s make Sheridanlife Radio bigger and better together!

Logan Girard
AHOY! I'm Logan, the music director with Sheridanlife Radio! I'm a recent journalism grad from Sheridan College and I've previously completed the Media Fundamentals program and a bit of Interaction Design as well.
My interest in broadcasting for live shows/events has fuelled much of my passions, such as audio and photo editing to photography and recording. Radio was something that I've always found interesting, but had no idea how to get into for a long time.
Thanks to SLR, I've found my way in and I'm loving every minute of it. From making playlists and adding new music to the mix, to our live events, and gaining behind the scenes experience through interviewing the artists I love, there's never a dull moment!
I'm glad to be here and get to grow with the station and our amazing team! :)

Events And Engagement Cordinator
Hello! I'm Carolyn, the Events & Engagement Coordinator for SLR. I'm a former student of the Journalism program here at Sheridan. I've worked as a freelance digital artist for over ten years and love using my creativity in different ways, from content creation to podcasting and writing.
When I’m not at work or class, I enjoy reading novels, watching animated films & shows and making soup!
At SLR, I’m excited to plan events that bring people together and help students discover the world of radio and broadcasting.
Technical Director
Mashaal Hussain
Hello! I’m Mashaal, the Technical Director for Sheridanlife Radio. I’m a recent alumni of the Film and Television program at Trafalgar, having specialized in audio and editing. During my studies, I regularly took on sound editing and mixing roles for various student projects, finding a real love for all things audio, something I had never really explored before coming to college. Over time, I also developed an interest in radio and broadcasting, seeking out opportunities to be part of live and recorded production crews wherever I could. Through one of my courses, I had the chance to collaborate with SLR, and it turned out to be such a fun experience that I knew I wanted to stay involved with the station!
At SLR, my goal is to ensure that students feel supported in their projects and ideas by helping them overcome technical challenges and be able to make the most of the radio platform. I’m excited to be part of such a passionate community at Sheridan and can’t wait to see all the creativity that comes to life on air.
Audrey Hurcomb
Program Director
I’m Audrey, SheridanLife Radio’s Program Director! I’m a student in the Honours Bachelor of Experiential Design program, taking on the radio world for the first time. I’m a mixed-media artist who loves to create through visual arts, music, crochet, photography and design. You name it - I’ll make it! In my free time, I also love cooking, singing, reading, movies and video games. My vivid imagination and wild ideas have always fuelled my creative mind; I’m thrilled to bring that to SheridanLife Radio!
It’s my mission at SLR to make your radio ideas come to life. I love brainstorming and problem solving; I’m here to coach and help get your visions on the air. I’m so excited to be a part of the team and learn more about the radio world!
