Founder / Station Manager

Amelia Sher

Hey, I’m the Founder and Station Manager of Sheridanlife Radio. I have previously interned and worked as an associate producer at CBC Radio. I am also a proud Sheridan Alumni from the Media Fundamentals and the Journalism program. My hobbies include Krav Maga, podcasting, being outdoors, sports and running. I also love a good movie or song.

My goals for Sheridanlife radio are to continue to build our legacy within and outside of the walls at Sheridan. I love my job and I love working with our students who enjoy creating content just as much as I do. It is an incredible feeling to hear from our SLR alumni who have gone on to do incredible things in the radio/media industry. Let’s make Sheridanlife Radio bigger and better together!

Director of Design & Programming

Audrey Hurcomb

Hey, I’m Audrey! I lead all things programming, scheduling, and design at the station. If you want to make a show with us, come and chat with me! I’m a 4th year student in the Honours Bachelor of Experiential Design program and I’ve been with SLR since 2025.

Outside of radio, I’m a mixed-media artist who loves to create through visual arts, music, crochet, photography and design. You name it - I’ll make it! In my free time, I also love cooking, singing, reading, movies and video games. My vivid imagination and wild ideas have always fuelled my creative mind; I’m thrilled to bring that to SheridanLife Radio!

It’s my mission at SLR to make your radio ideas come to life. I love brainstorming and problem solving; I’m here to coach and help get your visions on the air.

Alicia Santos

Events And Engagement Coordinator

Hi! I’m Alicia, the Events & Engagement Coordinator for SLR. I’m a recent graduate of the Business Administration - Marketing program.

At SLR, I want to bridge the gap between students and the radio world. I’m excited to combine my expertise to build lasting connections, create unforgettable memories and contribute to its growing presence!

In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing tennis, pilates, going to concerts, yoga and thrifting!

Technical Director

Anastasia Sakellis

I'm Anastasia, the Technical Director here at SheridanLife Radio. I'm a Sheridan Film and Television graduate, having specialized in sound and editing. I've done a bit of freelancing for Location and Post Sound on small projects, after dedicating my last couple of years as a student in the sound studios at Trafalgar. Developing a real passion and maybe a bit of an obsession, depending on who you ask, with audio. I'm happy to be expanding my experience to here at the radio station, and ready to dive into the world of podcasts.

At SLR, I'm here to help and support the volunteer students with recording and any technical problems that may arise in the production of their projects. Let's get these projects rolling!

Recruitment and Social Media Coordinator

Hey, I’m Tanishq! I am the Recruitment and Social Media Coordinator for SheridanLife Radio! I’m also a 4th year student of Sheridan’s Photography program. 📸

I am very excited to help students get involved with SLR and explore their creativity and expression through podcasting and live shows. I also love to make films!

Here at SheridanLife Radio, my goal is to help empower students to be more confident in expressing themselves through content. I am passionate about forming effective connections and the power of collaboration to achieve creative goals.
